The Palace of Arts (MÜPA) is an astonishing 21st century building and a unique cultural centre. Its centrepiece, the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall has been built to state-of-the-art acoustic specifications and ranks among the best performance spaces worldwide.
The Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art collects international and Hungarian art, displaying works from the past 50 years collected by the German couple, Peter and Irene Ludwig, whose intention was to bring East and West closer through art.
