Choir concert of the Kodaly Institute was organised by Violin Travel
The Missa brevis was written originally as an organ mass. Zoltán Kodály wrote this work while on holiday at his favourite Hungarian resort in the Summer of 1943. He later rearranged this solo organ piece as a Missa brevis for organ and mixed choir. Choir members of the Kodaly Intitute are students from all over the world. They preformed this piece accompanied by the well-known Hungarian organist, András Gábor Virágh and conducted by Professor László Norbert Nemes at the Inner City Parish Church in Budapest.
